My name is Sara. After completing a BA in Contemporary Applied Arts and gaining experience in a range of customer-focused roles, I was encouraged to explore a position in residential childcare. I began working as a Support Worker in March 2020 and, through ongoing training and a strong commitment to personal development, progressed into the role of Team Leader.

I joined Buttermere House at the start of its journey in 2024, and I am proud to be a team leader here and I find the work that we do with children at Buttermere House incredibly rewarding. Supporting children and young people to discover their strengths, build positive relationships, and grow in confidence is one of the most fulfilling parts of my role. Providing consistent care, nurture, and stability is at the heart of everything I do.
