Hawthorn Education worked closely with Ireleth House for a long period of time, educating a young person residing there. We always found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. Communication with them was excellent. We would happily work with them again in the future.

The care team are caring, supportive and always put the children first. They work well with other professionals and promote positive relationships with the children and staff team.

Although I have only been working with the team at Ireleth House for a short period, I have consistently found the home to be welcoming and child centred. The environment promotes a sense of safety and belonging for the children. Staff are proactive in sharing updates and collaborating effectively, which reflects their strong commitment to delivering care that prioritises the needs and well-being of each child.

I have always found my visits to Ireleth House positive. Staff are very welcoming engaging and helpful. Staff appear to have a good understanding of the needs of the individuals there and work over ad above to support these to ensure the children are happy in their home. Staff work well with me as a professional and share information readily and timely. Staff attend meetings and are great advocates for the children and will work tirelessly to ensure they get the best possible support available and ensure their needs are met to highest standard possible. Keep up- the fantastic work you all do!!

All my dealings with this placement whether it be Simon the manager or any of the staff they have been professional and focused on the needs of the child.  They have identified issues but have also identified solutions and support for these but have ensured I have been part of the decision-making process for these.

 They have worked collaboratively with not only myself but also the child’s birth family and have ensured that the ongoing family relationships have continued and are flourishing. 

 During my visits, the feeling is one of being homely, comfortable, and relaxed whilst acknowledging there are rules and boundaries. Each child is approached as an individual and the activities they do are very much tailored to their interests. 

 I think it is testament to the staff and environment that my young person is so happy and comfortable within a few weeks of moving here.  He has said “I feel so loved and wanted” and “It’s awesome”.
